Confucian View of Learning and Implications for Developing Human ResourcesUniversity of Minnesota

School of Management of Dalian University of Technology, Peoples Republic of China The problem and the solution. Confucian philosophy has dominated Chinese society for more than 2,000 years, and it has had a strong influence in many Asian countries. This philosophy has a unique view of teaching and learning. This article identifies Confucian values and beliefs in relation to teaching and learning. Implications for developing human resources in China are discussed.
